Conventional LUFFING-JIB SL 240
Luffing-jib cranes are specifically designed to achieve varied hook heights. In the case of the SL 240, with its 85º vertical rotation of the jib, it is able to “luff up” a further 59m in hook height, without having to jack the crane.
The SL240 was SAEZ’S first crane with a luffing jib, and can hoist up to 12000 Kg using the same 67kW motor as its larger sister crane, the SL 320. Both cranes sit on the same tower sections.
As for the load at the maximum 60m radius, it’s able to hoist 2300 Kg.
