The ‘HABITAT Lago Maggiore’ tourist development is becoming a reality and is expected to open in spring 2025. Located in Piazzogna (Switzerland), this project is destined to become a benchmark for sustainable, high-quality tourism in the heart of nature.

The HABITAT Lago Maggiore project, located in Piazzogna, in Gambarogno (Switzerland), originated in the promoters’ search for new tourism business-models, based on the principles of sustainability, respect and harmony with nature and the environment, as well as from an intuitive sense that tourists’ needs and desires are changing rapidly, creating new and interesting business opportunities in regions with great tourism potential.

The project aims to be a concrete response to current important tourism trends related to the search for more contact with nature, sustainable products and services and authentic experiences in unique and special places. The structure will offer its visitors overnight stays in special and iconic independent ‘Tiny House’ tourist modules,  immersed in nature.

HABITAT Lago Maggiore has been nominated among the three best hotel concepts in Switzerland in 2022 by the ‘Hotel Innovation Awards’  sponsored by Gastro Suisse.

The versatility of the Sáez TL 55 6T

Through Edilservice,  Sáez Cranes’ distributor in Lugano (Switzerland), a 30-metre high Sáez TL 55 6T was installed on this important construction site.

Given the special characteristics of the site, although this crane can be assembled with both external and internal climbing applications, a helicopter was used to assemble the different segments, previously adapted in size and weight to the lifting capacity of the helicopter.

Although the Sáez TL 55 6T was designed primarily for city construction, thanks to the new Super-Lift system with a maximum load of 6T and a 33 HP (24 kW) lifting motor, the crane’s range of applications is considerably increased, making it the perfect lifting tool for this iconic construction site in the middle of nature.

This crane is also equipped with an ECO working mode, which allows it to operate using 30% less power, and it leaves the factory with the PLC module and ‘Zoning’ software fitted as standard. The Sáez TL 55 6T can be installed with Saez’s “Deluxe” cabin, or set up to run with just remote control, which is supplied with a digital-screen.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information on the Sáez TL 55 6T model or to make any enquiries, we will be happy to answer all your questions.
